Off The Cuff

Cuff Links

People who helped us to get started:

  • Daniel James (X Factor & Up Your Street finalist)
  • Dave Bowen (Madassa Soul Band, Traffic, The Hindenburgs)
  • Marc & family at the Witchell Hotel in Barry - where it all started!
  • Ben of Gordon Bennetts in Barry (and former vocalist with The Bonnetts) - thanks for storing our equipment and letting us rehearse (and drink) in your bars
  • Paul & Wendy at the King's Cup (St. Athan), Jimmy Lee at the White Lion (Llantwit Major), Matthew at the Windsor (Barry), Trev at the Billy (Barry) - thanks for your continuing support
  • Rob Allen - Excellent Welsh singer/songwriter. Thanks for your supply of equipment in the early days
  • Tony Morley - Thanks for the supply of equipment and advice
  • Aubrey Parsons - aka The Ginger Growler. Many thanks for the gigs and contacts, and for your advice - especially about the drinking...
  • Thanks to Maria (vocalist based in Rhoose) for supporting us at the hotel functions!
  • We had the great pleasure of performing with Gareth Mortimer (Racing Cars) on one of our first ever gigs in Pencoed - he sung "First Cut is the Deepest" with us - what a voice this guy didn't need a microphone! He congratulated us on our performance so we reciprocated by playing an "unplugged" version of "They Shoot Horses Don't They" - only to find out later he hates the song!

People we'd just like to mention:

  • Off The Cuff are very proud to be supporters of The JAM Fund (www.jamfund.co.uk) - a charity helping children and their families coping with leukaemia and other life threatening illnesses. Ceri ran(!) the London Marathon, the Cardiff Half Marathon (twice) and the Great North Run with Jamie Adamson's father Paul on behalf of the charity.
  • Kirstie Howells Modelling School and Agency - just beautiful people! www.kirstiehowells.com
  • UnLuCkY 4 SuM - a great sounding 3 piece rock trio from the Bridgend area. Check them out these boys are the real deal
